Notes from the Arcanum: Heaven

Based on a reexamination of the travels of the prophet, Ezekiel, with corrections by the Archangel Raguel. - Alice R. Stone

Though we say Heaven, in a singular sense, the truth is that Heaven is divided into seven different Heavens, each one unique and progressively closer to the divine throne where God resides. Though distinct and separate, each heaven is intertwined with all others, radiating from God, forming abstract ethereal spheres. Modeling the Heavens as a series of dimensional shifts, they are like Russian dolls, each successive plane nested separately but within the previous, containing the next. Each heaven is a state of being rather than place. However, to progress to the next heaven, one must first enter the previous; to return, one must descend the very way one first came.
